Sentinel Rock Oil Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SEN) ("Sentinel" or the "Corporation") announces that today it issued 2,160,000 common shares of the Corporation at $0.05 per share to certain insiders of Sentinel. These shares were issued pursuant to its previously announced shares for services arrangement for remuneration to its officers. The common shares issued will be subject to a four month hold period.

Sentinel is a Calgary, Alberta based oil exploration company focusing on heavy oil with operations in northern Alberta and western Saskatchewan.
